The Roger & Michele Dedeaux Engemann Student Health Center at USC is a 6-story structural steel frame, metal deck academic building used for student health. The building façade consists of precast, whole brick, with punched windows and a mansard roof. It also features a methane mitigation system that vents vertically through the building. The new facility houses offices, clinic and lab space, storage, an IT/server room, and expansion space, as well as space to function as emergency and evacuation facilities in the case of a natural disaster. Hathaway Dinwiddie’s work for USC’s Student Health Center also included associated site work and landscaping.
